Verse16 is a Bible memorization app made by Seamstars. This page explains what we store about you, why, who can see it, and how to have it removed. It is written to say the same thing the app says under Help & support.

What we store

We store your account details, your verses, collections, and progress so we can sync them across your devices. In practice that means:

• Your email address, which is how you sign in. We send a one-time passcode to it; we do not store a password because there is none.
• Your library: the verse references you add, the translations you chose, the collections you organize them into, and your notes.
• Your progress: review history, memorization stages, points, level, streak and daily goal, plus the settings you pick (translation, appearance, reminders).
• Groups: the groups you create or join and your standing in them.

A copy of your library also lives on each device you use, so the app works offline.

Who can see it

Your activity is shown to groups you join and on leaderboards — you can hide this any time under Account & privacy in the app. Public collections and public groups you create are visible to other Verse16 users. Nothing else about you is visible to anyone.

What we never do

We never sell your data, and we do not show advertising. We use your email address only to sign you in and to reply when you write to us.

Scripture text

Verse text is fetched from licensed translation partners when you look a verse up. Those lookups carry the reference and translation you asked for, not your identity.

Deleting your account

You can have your account, your library and your progress deleted at any time by emailing help@verse16.app from the address you sign in with. We will confirm once it is done.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app.
